Our Commitment to Member Privacy

Black Wealth Street does not voluntarily disclose private user or member information to any third party, including government agencies, law enforcement, or private parties, without lawful process. We take the privacy of our members seriously and will not cooperate with informal requests for private data.

Lawful Process Requirements

To obtain private user or member data from Black Wealth Street, the requesting party must provide valid lawful process, which may include:

• A valid subpoena issued by a court of competent jurisdiction
• A valid search warrant signed by a judge
• A valid court order
• A valid agency demand with proper legal authority

Review of Legal Demands

All legal demands for user data will be reviewed for legal sufficiency. Overbroad, defective, or legally insufficient requests may be challenged or narrowed where lawful. We reserve the right to seek legal counsel before complying with any demand for user data.

Member Notification

Where legally permissible, Black Wealth Street will attempt to notify affected members of legal demands for their data before complying, so that members may seek their own legal counsel if they choose. We will not notify members if we are legally prohibited from doing so (for example, by a valid non-disclosure order).

Public Information

Publicly displayed business listing information — including business name, category, description, website, and publicly-chosen location — is public by design and does not require legal process to access.

How to Submit Legal Process

Legal process and law enforcement requests should be submitted in writing through our Contact page or by mail to our registered address. Informal requests will not be honored.
