We collect the following types of data when you use Black Wealth Street:

• Business Listing Data: Business name, owner name, category, description, contact information, website, service area, and location information submitted through the List Your Business form.
• Logo Uploads: Business logos uploaded to our Supabase Storage bucket. Logos are stored and may be publicly displayed for approved listings.
• Community Builder Signups: Name, email, phone, city, state, category, role, skills, and availability submitted through the Build the Community form.
• Land Suggestions: Property information, location, and contact details submitted through the Suggest Land form.
• Financial Partner Suggestions: Institution name, website, type, and submitter contact information.
• Contact Messages: Name, email, subject, and message submitted through the Contact form.

Business listings include a location privacy setting chosen by the business owner. Depending on your selection, we may display your full address, neighborhood, city, county, state, or simply "Online / Nationwide." We respect your privacy preference and only display what you authorize.

• To match community builders with opportunities
• To review land suggestions privately
• To respond to contact messages
• To operate and improve the platform

Black Wealth Street does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising networks or data brokers.

User-submitted public listing information — including business name, category, description, website, and location (based on your privacy setting) — may appear publicly on the Black Wealth Street directory after your listing is approved. You control what information is displayed through your location privacy setting and the information you choose to submit.

Data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform. We use Supabase Row Level Security (RLS) to restrict access to private data. Only approved listings are publicly visible.

Black Wealth Street may use essential cookies for site functionality. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

You may request correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting us through the Contact page. Business owners may request removal of their listing at any time.
